What was the quote that Martha mentioned about "burning your eyelashes" to mean reading? Something like "que marque los postanos" but I would like to know the proper spelling.

Hi, Steven — Glad you asked! It’s “quemarse las pestañas.” So I might say, for example, “Steven se quemó las pestañas estudiando.” Literally, it's “Steven burned his eyelashes studying,” but just a metaphor, thank goodness.
