In "sic" segment, waited in vain for, "Sic transit gloria mundi" as "Sick transit Glori Monday" = Gloria got sick on the bus on Monday.

Re: Macadam, rather remacadamize has the unusual property of being Latin (re), Scottish (mac), Hebrew (Adam), and Greek (ize).
