I have just recently discovered your show (which is terrific!) in itunes and am working my way through old episodes. I just listened to the "Road Trip" episode where "wigs on the green" is used in the slang quiz and I immediately thought of "The Quiet Man," the John Wayne movie set in Ireland. My recollection is that one of the locals says something like "there'll be wigs on the green this day" in anticipation of the upcoming fight between Wayne and his brother-in-law.
