I just saw the word “janky” used in my Wordpress blog tools. About a feature it says: We know this is a little janky, it’ll be better in future releases. I had never heard that word until I heard it on this podcast, and then there it is in print!

We often say “yight” instead of “light,” quoting my husband’s nephew from when he was little and couldn’t say his L’s correctly. Also applies to “yittle” and “yucky” in particular. Said nephew is now 17! We often refer to the Home Depot as the “Home Despot” just for fun. And I think my husband says “Massatwosetts” just to irritate me!!

I love “janky”!

And yup, Amy, I’ve been known to shop at Home Despot and Office Despot, and stock up on health foods at Whole Paycheck.
