How to hollow a book in 80 easy steps. «Take a minute and appreciate the book you're about to totally destroy. Go on, feel a little guilty. Remind yourself that true art is ephemeral and move on.»

Cleverly presented. Apt selection of book title. I remember doing something of a clumsy job of this back in college when a plant-related publication might have been quite appropriate.

I did something like this when I was a kid to hide candy from my siblings.

Don’t people in the movies hide guns in hollowed-out books pretty regularly? (One that comes to mind is John Woo’s excellent Hard Boiled.)

A few weeks ago, there was a big "Friends of the Library" booksale where there were tons of books available for free on the last day of the sale. I probably should have picked up a couple of extra ones just to try this (I did pick up some to sell on Ebay, but there haven't been any buyers yet). Then again, I'm probably a little too lazy for a project like this.
