I’ve now enabled avatars and Gravatars in the forums, so you can show a picture next to your user name, if you’d like.

You can assign a picture to your profile here by clicking the “profile” button in the upper right corner.

Another easy way to do it is to go to Gravatar.com, register and enter the same email address that you use here (or multiple email addresses, if you wish; you can assign different pictures to each address), and attach a picture to your account there. After a few minutes, Gravatar.com will then automatically make the picture you select show up here next to your comments, as you can see to the left next to my name.

A cool thing about this is that so many sites are using Gravatars that your same picture will show up on any other site where you comment, too.
