That's the question asked by 10,000 drivers who registered their vehicles in North Carolina last year and got registrations starting with "WTF."

Well, I'm the naive one. At first I thought it might stand for "white trash female." (Like anyone would put THAT in the personals!) Suddenly it clicked! Well, it's a memorable plate, for better or for worse. Gives the license plate game a whole new twist…..
