Catbird calumny
In a recent show, a caller confused catbirds and cowbirds

In a recent show, a caller asked about the phrase “in the catbird’s seat” and went on to describe catbirds as birds that lay eggs in other birds’ nests.

That describes cowbirds, not catbirds.

If I were a catbird, I would be insulted!
