hypersigil

hypersigil n. a creative work that via the medium of its artificial universe changes its creator, its observers, the real world, or other things. Etymological Note: hyper ‘over, beyond, or above’ ‘+ sigil ‘a seal or sign claimed to have occult or mystical properties.’ Coined by Grant Morrison in relation to his multi-part comic series The Invisibles.
