  • A golden birthday occurs once in a lifetime, in the year when a person’s age in years matches the date of the month of the birth date. If born on the 14th of any month, your 14th birthday is golden. This concept was introduced to me by a lassie from upstate New York in about 1982. I never had heard of it before in Kentucky and haven’t heard it much since.
